The “Self Care” blend is infused with herbs such as rose hips, nettles & more. These herbs can be known to offer healing & therapeutic qualities to the feminine system to tone the uterus, support healthy blood volume, ease nausea and cramps, and are rich in minerals - calcium, iron, potassium and vitamins K, B, D, C, and A. They can help with hormonal balance, fertility, and milk production. It is also beneficial before conception as well as after birth.
Can also be drank by anyone for a daily vitamin boost!
These benefits are some key reasons as to why I named this blend “Self Care”
- a good source of protein, fiber, and essential nutrients like vitamins (A, C, E, K, B1, B2, B3), and minerals (calcium, iron, magnesium, copper, potassium, phosphorus).
- Antioxidant Properties: They contain antioxidants like flavonoids, saponins, and chlorophyll, which help fight free radicals and reduce oxidative stress.
- Digestive Health: The fiber and enzymes can promote healthy digestion and bowel movements.
- Bone Health: a good source of vitamin K and calcium, which are crucial for strong bones.
- Cholesterol Management: Some studies suggest that the saponins in the herbs may help lower cholesterol levels by reducing its absorption in the gut.
- Blood Sugar Regulation: may also help manage blood sugar levels, potentially benefiting those with diabetes or prediabetes.
- Menopausal Symptom Relief: The phytoestrogens in the herbs may help reduce menopausal symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats.
Brewing Instructions: Brew 1-2 teaspoons/8 oz. of boiling water. Allowing it to steep, covered, for 10-15 minutes for full flavor and benefits. You can steep longer for a stronger flavor; it's all based on how strong you like your tea!
1oz makes about 10-15 cups
